Most of us are not unfamiliar with “baggage”- the stuff of the past that we have not really dealt with which we carry into our relationships. This study helps the participant to focus upon those attitudes which perpetuate yesterday’s problem. Using Willliam Hines’ book Leaving Yesterday Behind: A Victim No More, we will demonstrate how to use biblical tools that transform our broken thinking into God’s thinking to break free of these debilitating characteristics.
Registration Requirements: completed pre-group questionnaire (available on our web site). Participants new to Elisha House are also required to complete a pre-group interview to be arranged by the Facilitator.
Homework: there will be an average of 3 hours of homework per week.
Other considerations: We strongly advise that you miss not more than 2 sessions of this course. Missing more will both inhibit your own personal growth as well as adversely affect the group dynamic. Registration for the group will be closed after the second session.
